Overview
In an age when we cross continents during our travels, work for international companies and carry out our tasks in international groups, it is an essential requirement that our communication skills are also suitable for these activities. In communication, people from different backgrounds meet and try to understand each other. However, for this communication, it is no longer enough to acquire general communication skills. We need to be aware of the different cultural backgrounds of different types of people and the differences between the cultures of countries and regions that intercultural communication involves. During the course, in addition to expanding general communication skills, the most important practices of successful negotiation will be learned in an international context.
Where can we use intercultural communication skills? We can use them
- in our business relationships, business negotiations, during the formation of partnerships,
- during studies and educational activities,
- in diplomacy and international relations, at international conferences and discussions,
- in tourism and hospitality,
- in the media.
